Teaching is a rewarding profession and a really hard profession. It requires reflection, motivation, inspiration, and a smorgasbord of skills. Every. Single. Day. Each day is full of tiny tasks that must get done and curveballs no one saw coming. It’s easy to forget the importance of the work and feel disconnected from the reason you go into this field in the first place. That’s where reflective practice and guided journaling come in!
In this edWebinar, we’ll dive into the research and make it practical. We’ll discuss the impact of reflection as a professional growth and learning tool and the valuable processes guided journaling can promote, such as fostering a productive struggle, building personal resilience, working through challenging situations, learning new skills, recognizing big milestones, and connecting practice to purpose.
Attendees will walk away with practical insights that they can easily apply and strategies to build reflection habits into daily and weekly routines.
This edWebinar will be of interest to PreK through elementary school teachers, school leaders, and anyone working in direct service to young children and families.
