About the Presenter
Marnie Forestieri is the chief learning officer and founder at Amazing Explorers Academy® Early Learning Childhood Centers with a focus on 21st century skills and STEAM education. Marnie is an entrepreneur, educator and a writer with a passion for innovation, empowering women, STEM education and entrepreneurship. Marnie has been recognized in the education industry nationally as an educator and administrator. As an entrepreneur, she has been recognized with prestigious awards such as “Florida Grow,” “Fastest Growing Hispanic Businesses,” and “Don Quijote Awards” and as an author in prestigious literary awards. Her new book, Simple Steam, will be published by Gryphon House and released in 2018. Prior to starting her own business concept, she was a reporter for CNN in Asia, worked for corporate America as the VP of marketing of a telecommunications company, and was a franchisee for a childcare brand. Marnie holds a BS in business administration, a Director’s credential, a CDA (Child Development Associate) and is a graduate of Stanford University Latino Entrepreneurs Leaders Program.
