Students need and deserve the opportunity to analyze their own progress. Teachers need and deserve the opportunity to work collaboratively with common course teams to inform and adjust their practices, discover effective strategies, and identify achievement trends and gaps.

In this edWebinar, Jason Cianfrance, a mathematics instructor at Legacy High School in the Adams 12 Five Star Schools in Colorado, shares his work in supporting his district’s common course teams with the use of online assessment data analysis. He covers the use of common formative assessments, common grading practices, and data-driven strategies for teaching students how to own their learning as they address areas of success and struggle. Jason’s insights, practical approaches to assessments, and focus on boosting both student and teacher capacity open important perspectives for new and veteran teachers alike.

View this edWebinar and you’ll leave with impactful ideas and perspectives about changing the way you develop, use, and analyze assessments, going from “what did I get on this test?” to managing, supporting, and leveraging your assessment investments to drive results.

This recorded edWebinar is of interest to K-12 teachers, school and district leaders, directors of curriculum and instruction, directors of assessment, directors of school improvement, Title I directors, and department chairs in math, ELA, science, and social studies.
