About the Presenters

Katie Page, M.Ed., is a physics teacher turned EdTech coach. Katie empowers all educators & staff to save time, personalize learning, and confidently lead AI conversations in their schools. Katie recently published her book, AI Blueprint for Schools: A Practical Guide for Educators to Integrate AI, which is a conversational guide to understanding and implementing Generative AI (GenAI) in real-world, responsible, and deeply impactful ways.

Alicia DelMastro

Alicia DelMastro has served as the K-12 Instructional Technology Specialist for the Pelham Union Free School District since 2019, after previously teaching kindergarten and third-grade special education. With a strong foundation in early childhood education, Alicia approaches instructional technology with an emphasis on hands-on, real-world learning experiences that engage students in meaningful ways. She believes that building strong relationships and trust with teachers is essential to her role. Alicia has empowered and inspired educators to integrate digital tools in creative and impactful ways. She has spearheaded initiatives that engage students in coding, multimedia production, and digital fluency while fostering a culture of innovation. Through forward-thinking curriculum design, she has aligned the NYS Computer Science and Digital Fluency standards with immersive, hands-on projects that inspire curiosity and problem-solving. Most recently, she has been at the forefront of exploring artificial intelligence alongside Director of Technology John Sebalos to enhance both teaching and learning, equipping educators and students with future-ready skills.

Jenn Jeffers

Jenn Jeffers began her career as a secondary classroom teacher, spending over 15 years in education before moving into content development, instructional design, and edtech. For more than a decade, she has created learning materials, specializing in language, composition, and media literacy. Her expertise in developing best practices helps educators integrate technology effectively into modern learning environments. After years working in cybersecurity, Jenn brought her career full circle, combining technical expertise with educational innovation.

As a Senior Curriculum Designer and AI Subject Matter Expert at Britannica Education, she builds resources that prepare students and teachers for the future. Jenn holds a BA in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MA in education from the University of Colorado. Working at the intersection of education and technology, she is dedicated to shaping the next generation of learning through strategic content and impactful curricula.

Chris Heintz

Chris Heintz began his career in education as a high school social studies teacher in Chicago. Since then, he’s served in various roles in education management, helping teachers navigate the complex world of assessments, data, and curriculum and instruction. Throughout it all, he’s been dedicated to one thing—providing teachers with tools they need to create positive outcomes for the students in their care! Chris currently serves as the Director of Customer Experience at Britannica Education, overseeing the delivery and support of professional learning for product-specific initiatives, and is a subject matter expert in media literacy.
