Using Pinterest to Become a Better Teacher
>>> VIEW THE WEBINAR RECORDING
Using curation platforms, such as Pinterest, helps teachers and students categorize knowledge and find great ideas without having to think of them themselves. In this edWeb.net webinar for the TechTools for the Classroom community, middle school Assistant Principal Shannon Holden showed teachers how to use curation tools to find great lesson ideas, decorate the classroom, and stimulate learning and engagement among students. In addition to Pinterest, Shannon also introduced two similar curation tools geared specifically towards educators: eduClipper and Learnist!

Hi Lisa,
I apologize that you are experiencing technical complications while viewing the recording. If you are seeing “Loading…” or “Connecting…” when trying to view a webinar or webinar recording, this could mean that you do not have Flash Player installed on your computer. Please test your system here to see if you have all of the components necessary to view a webinar: http://www.instantpresenter.com/systemtest (Please disregard the section that tests Java.) This Flash test on Adobe’s site can also be used to check if you have the latest version: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html If not, follow the steps to download and install. If you do not want to download Flash, the Google Chrome internet browser has Flash built in, so try using that.
There may also be a firewall preventing access to the site. If you are viewing from school, perhaps try viewing from your home.
If you continue to encounter technical issues, please contact us at [email protected].
Best,
Ashley
