This month’s Teaching Students with Autism webinar on edWeb.net explored simple solutions to solve social and behavior problems. Presenter Linda Hodgdon discussed visual strategies that are used effectively with students of all ages in both special and regular education settings. She shared ways to identify significant factors in student learning and functioning style that affect communication. Linda also discussed how to recognize situations where communication breakdowns can affect the student’s understanding, behavior and participation.
