Research shows that educators believe travel positively benefits their students. Yet many say that the cost of travel is too high for many of their students—especially for those on free and reduced lunch programs.

“I extend the sincerest of thanks to you for allowing us to see the fires kindled in the eyes of our students.”
—Lisa Faulkner-Jones, Charles Hart Middle School

This edWebinar provides an overview of scholarship programs and special opportunities for students to travel. It also helps educators plan ahead and prepare to complete scholarship applications. There will be a special focus on the SYTA Youth Foundation Scholarship program, which has awarded more than a million dollars in scholarships.

This recorded edWebinar will be of interest to middle school through higher education teachers, and school and district leaders.
