Traveling teachers make dreams come true by providing outside-the-classroom learning opportunities for students. Teachers, students and parents make this a reality through hours of fundraising to pay for the trip.

If something goes wrong—a natural disaster, terrorist attack, flight delays, or someone becomes ill while traveling—travel insurance can be a teacher’s greatest tool in effectively handling the situation. Travel protection plans for student travelers can cover expenses related to medical emergencies, trip interruptions, missed connections and emergency evacuation costs, and they also cover costs related to lost luggage and delayed baggage.

In this edWebinar, Bud Geissler, National Group Manager at Travel Insured International, share how teachers are using travel insurance to protect the valuable investment of time and money for their students. Although only available for purchase through a qualified tour operator, it benefits teachers to understand all their options.

This edWebinar focuses on the options for travel protection plans with real life examples from teachers who have benefitted from having travel insurance for their groups. Educators in the middle school through higher ed levels will benefit from this session. Learn more about understanding the options available for protecting hard-earned class trips.
