We all know STEM is awesome, but girls and students from economically disadvantaged communities are disproportionately left out. This edWebinar focuses on project-based learning as an evidence-based strategy to help students from all backgrounds fall in love with and gain confidence in STEM.

Watch to learn about models that work for elementary summer school programs focused on accelerating learning recovery. This session is for educators who are planning a summer school 2023 experience that helps their students catch up on essential skills via fun, engaging, and hands-on learning. The presenters share their experiences from summer school 2022 with stories about specific steps anyone can replicate in their own school.

This edWebinar provides educators with practical tips and strategies for building a summer school program that is both exciting and effective in accelerating learning recovery. Viewers learn how to plan for student engagement through hands-on, project-based learning activities that encourage critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity. Learn how to design a summer experience that supports social-emotional wellness by emphasizing activities that contribute to self-confidence and self-awareness.

This recorded edWebinar is of interest to elementary teachers, school and district leaders, education technology leaders, summer school principals and administrators, and STEM coordinators.
