About the Presenters
Currently the CEO and Co-founder of Lobee Learning, John Moye has taken a winding career path to get here. From international youth work in Latin America to public education to technology startups, John’s diversity of work experience is united by the common thread of seeking to make a positive difference in the world. While he relishes any opportunity to work directly with students, he spends most of his time equipping educators and out-of-school staff to deliver impactful, memorable experiences that build a lifelong love of learning (and he’s lucky enough to work alongside the best mom/teacher in the world).
A 14-year classroom veteran in Union, NJ, Alison Brehm currently serves as a leadership teacher at Kawameeh Middle School and has acted as the Elementary Summer and After School Coordinator since 2021. Her experience in the classroom is bolstered by a number of certificates and degrees, including two master’s degrees (elementary education and educational leadership), a Supervisor Certificate, and a Principal Certificate of Eligibility. Also, Alison’s gift for inspiring students has been noticed by others. Parents, students, peers, and leaders have all recognized her amazingness, awarding her both the PTA Lifetime Award and Teacher of the Year recognition!
Rachelle Dené Poth is an edtech consultant, presenter, attorney, author, and teacher of Spanish and STEAM: What’s nExT in Emerging Technology. Rachelle has a Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law, a master’s in instructional technology, and is currently pursuing a second doctorate, focused on educational technology. Rachelle is an ISTE Certified Educator and recipient of the ISTE Making IT Happen Award and several presidential gold and silver awards for volunteer service. Since 2019, Rachelle has written seven books. Her newest book, Things I Wish […] Knew, includes the voices of 50 educators from around the world. She is also a columnist for Getting Smart, Defined Learning, Edutopia, and NEO LMS.
