Schools and teachers often find manipulatives gathering dust in the back of a closet. Our Summer webinar 2016 series will be an opportunity to explore new uses for familiar manipulatives as well as learn about new tools to add to your toolkit.
In part two of our three part series, Dr. Sara Delano Moore shared manipulatives to use to develop fraction sense – understanding what fractions are, making sense of how they behave, and modeling operations with fractions. Learn about using fraction circles, fraction tiles, fraction towers, and number lines to strengthen student learning about fractions.
