Kim VaughtAbout the Presenters

Kim Vaught is a results-driven educational leader with a proven record of converting low-performing schools to the highest-ranking schools in the state within just one academic year. As a three-time Principal of the Year recipient and Ed.D. candidate, she utilizes her outstanding motivational and collaborative abilities to energize teachers and staff to provide the highest-quality learning environment for all students. She is a driven, solutions-oriented principal who brainstorms innovative solutions, and unites her team to drive these ideas to fruition. As a trusted mentor, she routinely provides professional development for principals, assistant principals, and staff members districtwide, leading to the creation of lifelong learners and future community leaders.

Dr. Lucretia Prince

Dr. Lucretia Prince is a native of Tuscaloosa. She has been with the Tuscaloosa County School System for 14 years, and currently serves as Principal at Davis-Emerson Middle School. Dr. Prince also has experience as a teacher and assistant principal. Dr. Prince holds bachelor’s, master’s, educational specialist, and educational doctorate degrees, all from The University of Alabama. Her speaking topics include: Career Readiness Begins with Kindergarten; The Value of Pre-K; Reaching Students Before Kindergarten; How to Become Involved in Your Student’s School; and Parenting Skills That Promote Learning.

Dr. Adam DrummondDr. Adam Drummond, Associate Partner at ICLE, has served the educational community in many roles, as a teacher, district professional, learning coordinator, university adjunct professor, school principal, and most importantly, as a lifelong learner. He believes that to effect the change needed for successful 21st century learning, we need to commit to growth at all levels of leadership; that means teachers, coaches, principals, superintendents, and students. Dr. Drummond has spent the past 15 years building and sharing his expertise in literacy, leadership development, and systemic planning with schools and districts and is lucky to share this passion with the broader ICLE community. He is a firm believer that learning is not restricted to the classroom!
