Great educators and administrators inspire action with their words. They spark enthusiasm and commitment. With a single conversation, they can change the direction of someone’s life.

Everyone wants to be the kind of person who energizes and mobilizes others—yet too few are. Why is it so challenging to crack the code? Executive coach Kristi Hedges spent years studying exactly what inspiring people do differently. Informed by quantitative research and thousands of responses from leaders at all levels, she has determined the core tenets of inspiring communication.

In this edWebinar, Kristi uncovers how anyone can become an inspirational force in the lives of others, dispelling common myths that get in the way of motivation and engagement. She spotlights the importance of inspiration in education, and provide simple, everyday strategies for igniting passion in others.

Inspirational educators and leaders who motivate and energize others do a few things routinely, consistently, and intentionally. Kristi guides viewers through her research to provide a clear path to becoming more inspirational. Using her model, The Inspire Path, she shows how to communicate to be:

  • Present: Investing your full attention and letting conversations flow
  • Personal: Speaking genuinely, listening generously, and acknowledging the potential of those around you
  • Passionate: Exhibiting sincere emotion and exuding energy attuned to the situation
  • Purposeful: Helping others find meaning and see their place in the bigger picture

Educators and school leaders are invited to watch this recorded session. Learn how to inspire students and peers in everyday conversations at school.
