The goal of this edWebinar is to illustrate how edtech vendors can better characterize their customer base and more effectively prepare for efficacy research through the analysis of their product usage data. With the advent of cloud-based edtech, companies routinely collect overwhelming amounts of product usage data (e.g. timestamped user logins, number of online activities completed, and other measures of product engagement). How can you turn this data into actionable information about the nature of your customers and whether you can show that your product works? What is the optimal level of usage to get the outcomes the schools expect? Are you leveraging your usage data to your maximum benefit?
In this edWebinar, walk through several examples of how different companies have used their usage data, combined with publicly available school demographic data, to identify and characterize school and district users that are the strongest product implementers. Learn how these data can be used to determine what kinds of efficacy studies are possible and likely to yield results, including an analysis of edWeb’s own user base.
This recorded presentation is designed for edtech companies and educators interested in edtech product usage and efficacy.
