About the Presenter
Kim Wilson is a passionate children’s industry veteran who has dedicated her career to making impactful children’s content. Kim is a leader in developing and blending content across platforms, whether it be interactive digital content, television and/or community events. Through worldwide partnerships, Kim has inspired kids across Canada and the globe with convergent and innovative programs and initiatives. For her work at CBC and TVO, she has garnered awards in Canada and around the world. She has also had roles on the board of directors for the Alliance for Children’s Television and has lectured at both Ryerson University and Humber College. Kim is the co-director of the new Children’s Media Lab at Ryerson University. She is excited to support students, graduates and children’s industry members through research, education and thought leadership to help shape the future of children’s content in Canada.
