About the Presenter
Janis Effner was a classroom teacher and reading specialist for over 10 years. She worked with struggling students to help them learn to read and worked to have an inspirational classroom where students believed in themselves. After several years, Janis decided to expand her ability to help students by joining Achieve3000 as a professional services director. She is currently the project manager for the Bureau of Indian Education.
Janis lives in Alaska with her husband, their teenage son, and Aussiedoodle, Charlie. They have three children and three grandchildren. Janis is a powerful media and communication professional with a Principal Certification focused on Secondary School Administration/Principalship from Schreiner University.

Dr. Julie Morrow has served as an educator for more than 31 years as a teacher, principal, state transformation coach, and an assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction. She has been recognized at both a state and national level for her extensive work with school transformation, innovation in instructional design, professional learning communities, and successful implementation of multiple digital conversions.
