The Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program—in efforts to recruit, train, hire, and retain the skilled workers who help build and maintain our defense systems. These workers are part of the defense industrial base (DIB): the commercial companies and government facilities whose workers create the defense-critical capabilities that enable the United States to respond at will to national security needs around the world. This virtual field trip highlights some of the career opportunities and skill sets that are urgently needed in the DIB.
