Gender identity and expression are often misunderstood and recently politicized topics. Early childhood educators can benefit from understanding gender diversity and its place in early childhood development.
Watch the authors of the new book, Guidance for Supporting Gender Diversity in Early Childhood Education, for an introduction to gender diversity and ways ECE providers can support and include children and families in their programs. Viewers of this edWebinar receive an introduction to early childhood gender development and explore methods for making their ECE classrooms and programs more inclusive and supportive for ALL children, including gaining insight into ways to communicate about gender with children and families.
This recorded edWebinar benefits early childhood teachers and administrators, childcare providers, early elementary teachers and administrators, and other related service providers working with young children.
