In this edWebinar, early childhood educators receive simple tips on how to integrate purposeful play into their day-to-day practices in a developmentally appropriate way that supports children’s holistic development.

Educators are encouraged to continue to focus on using child-centered, play-based approaches and intentional interactions to help their children to thrive, and to encourage parents and guardians to do the same. This is especially important in the current environment where many Pre-K programs, including publicly funded programs, are becoming more academically driven and focused on rote learning, which can be detrimental to children’s long-term development. This session aims to be as collaborative as possible with viewers encouraged to share their strategies and tips with each other as well.

This recorded edWebinar is of interest to early childhood educators.
