Can I use edWeb for PD hours in Texas?
Yes! edWeb.net is a state-approved provider of professional development for Texas educators.  The continuing professional educational provider number (CPE#) for edWeb.net is 902-588.

Can I use edWeb to renew my teacher’s license in Texas?
Yes, if you hold a standard teaching certificate in Texas you must renew it every five years.  Classroom teachers must complete 150 CPE hours. Educators who hold an administrative or support services certificate, must complete 200 CPE hours. edWeb.net may be used to complete all or a portion of the required Continuing Professional Education (CPE) required by the state.   • You must be a member of edWeb.net and be sure your state is indicated as TX. edWeb is free and you can join at www.edWeb.net/join.
  • We recommend that you take the CE Quiz on your edWebinar transcript page as additional evidence of your learning.
  • All edWebinars (live and recorded) that are viewed beginning on our approval date (2/5/2018) are accepted for CPE hours.
