In this webinar, Terri Simpson will demonstrate how she uses iPods, digital cameras, iPads, student voting systems and cloud computing.  She’ll talk about how she has secured grants and other funding to help purchase technology. Her most recent grant was used to purchase classroom iPads to promote reading, with the idea that tech-savvy middle school students might embrace handheld digital readers more warmly than books. Her students build stop motion animation films to better understand literary elements and use Wordle to help identify over-used words in writing.  She offers a monthly parent technology night to help parents improve their technology skills, too.  Terri Simpson is always trying to make learning fun!
