edWeb CE Certificates may be used for CETL Recertification
If you are a CoSN Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL), you may be able to use our edWebinars and edLeader Panels as one hour of structured continuing education (CEAs) towards the 60 hours needed for your CETL Recertification.
You are responsible for tying the topic of the program to one or more of the ten skill areas identified in the CETL Framework of Essential Skills. The CoSN Certification Governance Committee approves all submitted CEA hours for recertification. Visit the CoSN CETL recertification web page for more information regarding eligible categories of CEA hours. You’ll need to complete and submit your hours on the CETL Tracking Form.
The CoSN CETL® program is the only accredited practice-based certification program available to education technology leaders that bridges technical knowledge, understanding of the educational environment, leadership and vision, and the management of technology and support resources needed to integrate technology across the curriculum to advance student outcomes.
The CETL® credential is a true measure of today’s education technology leaders, identifying those who have mastered the framework skills and knowledge needed to bring 21st-Century skills to schools. The CETL® program is also a professional development tool that can be used to guide education technology leaders’ study of learning technologies. Learn more about CETL® Certification.
