About the Presenters
Janine Domingues, Ph.D. is the Senior Director of Professional Training for School and Community Programs and a psychologist in the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. She has developed and provided educators and school-based mental health professionals with evidence-based prevention and intervention training programs for schools K-12. Dr. Domingues is passionate about ensuring the sustainability of mental health prevention and intervention services in schools by empowering staff through effective and supportive training.
She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety and mood disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults, and has expertise in providing treatment to children and families who have been affected by trauma and grief. Dr. Domingues is dedicated to destigmatizing mental health challenges through education and bringing evidence-based interventions to schools and communities.
Jessica Rosenfeld is a former educator and an advocate for social-emotional learning and mental health. She has worked in the Edtech space for over seven years, helping schools and districts around the country implement programming for SEL, mental health, and behavioral interventions. She is dedicated to helping create a safe space for all students to learn and grow. Jessica graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education.
Bridgette Melton is a previous elementary school teacher and holds a master’s in psychology. She is passionate about combating childhood trauma by building resiliency into the classroom. Bridgette has continued growing her knowledge in this field and is a certified trauma and resilience practitioner. She is a member of the Education Partnership Team at Committee for Children.
About the Moderator
Donna Reichman has been a member of the Wayne Township Public Schools for 20 years serving in the roles of Assistant Superintendent, Curriculum Director, Principal, Staff Developer, and Gifted and Talented Teacher. Her combined 26 years of experience in public education includes work on curriculum reform, technology integration, and professional development. Donna has been the driving force behind many curriculum implementations, has opened a state-of-the-art early childhood center, and started an in-house professional development center where educational leaders from her district can showcase and share their expertise and talents. She worked with the New Jersey Department of Education to develop programs that allow for progressive in-district professional development and was a New Jersey Gifted Society fellow. Donna graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Economics. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Kean University and a Master’s Degree in Education, Administration, and Supervision from Caldwell University.
