Efraín Tovar, M.A.Ed. is a California educator, Google Innovator, Lexile Ambassador, and newcomer advocate. An avid Twitter user, he founded the @Caellchat and @Calnewcomer accounts to connect, quip, and empower CA leaders who work with newcomers. He is currently teaching and serving as EL Department Chair at Abraham Lincoln Middle School in Selma, CA.
