In this webinar, Common Sense Graphite Certified Educator, Dr. Ruth Okoye, shared five of the top tools for 2014 by Graphite.  Ruth demonstrated Shadow Puppet: a free video slideshow creator for elementary (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch), Prodigy: an adaptive math practice game and roleplaying adventure for elementary (Linux, Mac, Windows), Newsela: a website for middle/high school that connects kids to absorbing news at their reading levels, eduCanon: a website for middle/high school that adds interactivity and formative assessments to videos, and Curriculet: a website that is an elegant reading tool to promote comprehension with embedded assessments.  Ruth shared what these tools are, and also specific examples of how to use them with students.
