This session is designed to help you spark children’s natural curiosity and feed their imaginations through intentional, meaningful and playful lesson activities.  Learn how to enhance your young learners’ skills with research-based strategies through songs, chants, and stories to make learning joyful!

 

Mary Jo Huff Mary Jo Huff is a multi-award winning author and puppeteer. She is a master storyteller who enjoys connecting the power of stories, puppet play, music and movement to the early childhood classroom. Mary Jo has been involved with early childhood education for over 30 years and shares that knowledge with you as an experienced multi-award-winning author, recording artist and educational trainer. She also is an international keynote speaker and has presented at numerous educational conferences including NAEYC, SECA, IRA, ASCD, FROG STREET SPLASH and Head Start. Mary Jo also has written numerous books for early childhood educators including Storytelling with Puppets, Props and Playful Tales, Story Play: Building Language and Literacy One Story at a Time and Creative Storytelling. The numerous award winning CDs and DVDs she has created are available on her website.
