SUMMARY:Oral Reading Fluency for All: Using Digital Tools to Build Accuracy and Prosody
DESCRIPTION:Presented by Megan Jensen\, Director of Literacy Impact\, Carnegie Learning; and Heather Sampselle\, Director of Professional Learning Design\, Literacy\, Carnegie Learning \nSponsored by Carnegie Learning \nWatch the Recording\nLearn more about viewing the live presentation and the recording\, earning your CE certificate\, and using our new accessibility features. \nWe know that students must develop oral reading fluency—the ability to read with accuracy\, appropriate pacing\, and expression—in order to comprehend and build knowledge from the texts that they read independently. Watch district leaders for this edLeader Panel where they share: \n\nSteps for reviewing historical end-of-year data and setting clear plans for students’ transitions\nHow to identify what types of data are most important for predicting transition challenges\nHow to identify and execute targeted interventions that go beyond the transition program for all students\n\nThis recorded edLeader Panel is of interest to K-12 teachers and school and district leaders. \n\nAbout the Presenters \nBreana Piles is a coordinator\, consultant\, and educational podcaster with over 13 years of experience in public education.
