Wednesday, January 20, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm EST

Presented by Michelle Luhtala, Head Librarian, New Canaan High School, CT

WATCH THE WEBINAR RECORDING

The Common Core calls for inquiry, close reading, and publication but in this millennium, publication is evolving. Giving students choice helps to differentiate and personalize instruction, and technology opens the door to new options for publication. In this session, viewers will explore alternatives to the traditional research paper that will engage students with the research process while challenging them to document their learning using innovative tools and meeting rigorous expectations.

In this webinar, Michelle Luhtala, Head Librarian at New Canaan High School (CT), presented material that will benefit K-12 school librarians, classroom teachers, and curriculum leaders.

Join the Emerging Tech community to participate in online discussions with peers, for invitations to upcoming webinars, to view past webinar recordings, to take a quiz and receive a CE certificate for a past webinar, and for access to more resources.
