Teachers are charged with developing and maintaining positive, productive classroom environments that promote learning, and they are expected to reduce the time they spend managing. Providing students with regular activity opportunities during the school day has been proven to improve on-task classroom behavior. In this edWebinar, Dr. Julian Reed introduces five ways current findings from neuroscience can improve learning that will lead to increased engagement and achievement, improved behavior, and the adoption of healthy habits. Hear from two elementary educators who will share their first-hand experiences with movement-based learning used in their classrooms to reinforce skills and administer formative assessments. Learn how you can do it too!

You’ll leave this recorded edWebinar with a deeper understanding of how movement can help students focus more and perform better in your classroom. This edWebinar will be of particular benefit to preK-2 educators and elementary curriculum and instructional leaders.
