A new school year brings with it the annually recurring question: What new and exciting ways can teachers engage students in class? With so many resources to choose or borrow from, how can language teachers cut through the helpful noise to find answers they can use right away?

Start the year off right! In this edWebinar, we share five fun and effective strategies to motivate students and complement your ELL and language learning program. Whether your language learning is for English or foreign language learners, traditional or tech-driven, these approaches are easily adjustable to complement your lessons. Learn effective classroom strategies and how to use them.

By setting up language corners in the classroom, all students will have the chance to participate in engaging activities designed to reinforce their emerging speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. Learner self-direction and creativity is at the heart of each of these flexible strategies that are easily adapted for other classroom content. What you learn in this edWebinar can be applied throughout the school year.

This recorded edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 teachers, librarians, and school and district leaders who are working with their English language learners or teaching foreign languages.
