In this webinar, Mike Eisenberg and Colet Bartow helped educators preK–20, especially teacher-librarians, to design and deliver curriculum and instruction to meet the ICT literacy needs of 21st-century students. Learn how to use the Big6 curriculum approach to provide a clearly defined, predictable, measured and reported program. In addition, this webinar focused on strategies and tools for assessment, reporting, and gaining widespread buy-in for the program.
Based on content from the new book, this recorded session included sample lesson plans, program planning guidelines, templates, and examples from practice in order to help you develop and provide your own ICT literacy program.

Dr. Mike Eisenberg, the founding dean of the Information School at the University of Washington, is an educator, scholar, advocate, and mentor whose personal motto is, “make it better!” Mike is a prolific author (9 books and dozens of articles and papers) and has worked with thousands of students—pre-K through higher education—as well as people in business, government, and communities to improve individual and organizational information and technology access and use.
Colet Bartow is a teacher-librarian and cheerleader for information and technology literacy. She works for the Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI) as School Library Specialist. Colet spent 13 years as a teacher-librarian before joining the OPI in 2007. Her first computer was a Radio Shack TRS-80 and she first held a job in a library as a third-grade student. Colet completed her M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction at Montana State University, and B.A. in English with endorsements in secondary English, School Library Media and English as a second language at the University of Montana.
