Today’s students face assessment and standards-based expectations for concise argumentative writing as early as third grade.  Teachers lack time to grade increased writing tasks, and student language skills leave them unable or unmotivated to write independently.  How do we close the gap?

In this recorded webinar from the Writing Readiness Project and IXL Learning, viewers walk away with immediately actionable strategies for coaching teachers, aligning curricula, and tweaking classroom instruction to increase alignment and accelerate student fluency in writing.  It focuses on the most impactful strategies for language and basic skills fluency to support argumentation and advanced editing tasks.

Designed especially for principals, curriculum teams and lead teachers / department chairs, registrants also receive access to digital materials including released assessment items and ELA for Writing MicroSkills™.
