Preparing for Round Two – E-rate Modernization
Thursday October 29, 2015 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT
Presented by John Harrington, Chief Executive Officer, Funds For Learning
Sponsored by Funds For Learning
Since the release of the E-rate Modernization Order, there has been one thing that has been a constant of the E-rate program: change, change, and more change. E-rate program stakeholders that filed an application for the current 2015-2016 funding year know this too well, with the first round comprised of late approved forms, weekly new guidance/clarification, and an extended 2015 filing window. With the release of the Second E-rate Modernization Order, the transition to USAC’s new E-rate Productivity Center (EPC) online application tools, and as the new program rules continue to be implemented, expect to see further changes and clarification over the next several months.
In this webinar, we take a look at some of the more recent changes and new guidance from USAC and the FCC, as well as the immediate impact and best practices looking forward. Additionally, we examine some of the highlights from the first round of USAC’s annual applicant training sessions. This information will better position you to avoid delays or potential mistakes and to fully leverage available program funds, while navigating the current and upcoming funding cycle.
