Visual and concrete models support coherent content progressions in mathematics because they can be used across the grade levels. In this edWebinar, ORIGO Education’s President and Co-founder James Burnett builds on a recent presentation that introduced four visual models: the array/area model, the length model, the number line model, and the set model.

This session delves further into the number line model by showing how they are used to develop a deep understanding of whole numbers, relative position, fractions, and decimals. Essential skills such as addition, subtraction and equivalence are also explored.

Learn how to make the most of number lines. K-6 teachers, primary math teachers, math curriculum directors, elementary math supervisors, elementary math coordinators, elementary administrators, elementary special education teachers or specialists, math interventionists, and Title I math teachers will benefit from watching this recorded session.
