Creative experiences build global understanding. Art helps students develop cultural insights and see other people in new ways—what is universal and unique. This webinar offered powerful ways to use art to improve students’ understanding of the world. Participants will learn how the 4 C’s of global understanding—Connections, Commonalities and Comparisons, Citizenship and Communication, and Cultural insights—are key to global understanding. Enjoy this journey with a global lens.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Recognize what it means to be a “global citizen”
  • Explore art-rich strategies to engage students in learning about the world
  • Demonstrate how art-infused education builds global awareness and understanding

Special Invitation: As special recognition, the educators who share their global perspective sketches will receive a complimentary gift from Crayola. Fifty members of the Champion Creativity community who post their art in the Discussion Forum, “Creativity Connects the World: Art Builds Global Understanding,” by June 30, 2016 will receive 24 boxes of 5 ct. Crayola Twistable Slick Sticks. While we’d love to see your sketches—wherever you live—shipping this gift is only applicable for members in the U.S. and Canada.
