10 Educational Apps New Teachers Need NOW!

educational appsWhen I began doing webinars about educational apps two years ago, I thought I would do one and move on to the next topic facing new teachers. I did not expect the huge reaction from teachers across the country. At that point, I decided to do a webinar on educational apps every six months because so many helpful ones are being built.

Not only are a huge number of apps hitting the app stores, but these apps have a variety of uses for teachers. Some apps help teachers communicate with parents, some save time and/or effort, some make documentation effortless, others provide assistance with instruction. Many of these apps solve problems I didn’t even know I had!

The reason why many novice teachers are reluctant to use technology (and the reason why I think these webinars are so popular) is that it is easy to be overwhelmed by all of the options available. I “test drive” each of the featured apps so that teachers can make a determination about whether or not to download and try them. Researching, downloading, and sampling these apps can take a LOT of time – I show you ten awesome apps in one hour or less! These webinars are also where the “magic of edWeb” takes place – people share THEIR favorite apps. The amount of ideas being shared is off the charts!

So, mark your calendar and plan to join us on the next New Teacher Help webinar on March 8, 2016 at 5 pm Eastern Time! Join dozens of educators from across the United States and the world as we examine our favorite free and paid educational resources – hope to see you then!
